Terms of Service

B2B terms for the controlled RecordLint Preview and any later Marketplace service.

Pre-launch draft · 27 August 2026This page is provided for owner review and will become effective only when RecordLint launches publicly.

1. Provider and agreement

RecordLint is provided by Mykhailo Ihnatiev, NIP 8971938345, Komuny Paryskiej 58, lok. 40, 30-389 Krakow, Poland. Support: support@recordlint.com.

The person accepting these terms represents that they may bind the relevant Zendesk customer organization (Customer). RecordLint is for lawful B2B use by authorized Zendesk administrators.

2. Read-only service boundary

RecordLint runs administrator-requested scans, applies deterministic data-hygiene rules, and presents explainable findings, priorities, history, and reports. It does not merge users, update profiles, change memberships, delete Zendesk records, or perform remediation. Optional OAuth token revocation during disconnect is the only outbound DELETE request.

Findings are recommendations for human review. They are not guarantees that data is incorrect, that records represent the same person, or that a person committed fraud. Customer decides whether and how to correct data directly in Zendesk.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • Restrict access to authorized administrators and maintain lawful instructions, notices, and permissions.
  • Configure rules appropriate for the business and verify evidence and current records in Zendesk before acting.
  • Do not place unnecessary personal or sensitive information in policy, reason, or support fields.
  • Do not bypass safeguards, probe other tenants, overload the service, introduce malware, or use findings as the sole input to a high-impact decision.

4. Data protection and security

The Privacy Notice and DPA apply where relevant. Customer instructs the provider to process Customer Data only to provide, secure, support, and delete RecordLint data. Customer remains responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and remediation of its Zendesk data.

5. Preview, fees, and taxes

The controlled Preview is free, has no service-level commitment, and is intended for development, testing, and product feedback rather than production customer support. Preview functionality may change or be discontinued.

Before any paid plan is activated, the Marketplace listing will show its price, billing cadence, renewal, cancellation, refund, and tax terms. Paid billing is not enabled during the controlled Preview.

6. Intellectual property and feedback

The provider retains rights in RecordLint and its documentation. Customer retains rights in Customer Data and grants only the limited permission needed to provide the service. Feedback may be used without identifying Customer or disclosing confidential information.

7. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only for this agreement. Standard exclusions apply to public, independently developed, previously known, or lawfully received information. Legally compelled disclosure requires notice where permitted.

8. Availability, changes, and support

The service may change for safety, reliability, or platform compliance. Preview functionality may be changed or discontinued. Support contacts must not be used to send OAuth/API tokens or real Zendesk end-user data.

9. Warranties and disclaimer

Each party represents that it has authority to enter the agreement. To the extent permitted by law, the Preview is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that every issue will be found, every finding is correct, or customer remediation will have a particular result. Customer must verify important information in Zendesk.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages or lost profits. Each party's aggregate liability is limited to EUR 100 for the free controlled Preview. For a paid service, each party's aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the fees paid by Customer in the preceding 12 months or EUR 500.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or wilful misconduct, and cannot remove rights that applicable law makes mandatory. The final public terms remain subject to appropriate Polish-law review before customer acceptance.

11. Suspension, termination, and deletion

Access may be suspended for a security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, or material breach. Disconnect removes OAuth credentials and temporary workspaces. An administrator can use “Delete all RecordLint data” for tenant erasure; protected backups, once production exists, expire under the published Retention Notice.

12. General

These terms are governed by Polish law. The courts competent for Krakow, Poland have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory law. Notices may be delivered through the service or to the supplied business contact. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.

If service documents conflict, the DPA controls for processing Customer Data, these Terms control other legal matters, and the Marketplace listing controls the selected plan and price.
